Our Impact (2025)

In 2025, SickBirdie Disc Golf continued its mission to grow the sport through community investment, accessibility, and inclusive programming. With the support of our players, donors, and volunteers, we made meaningful contributions across Montana—both on and off the course.

Community Investment

We are committed to improving local disc golf infrastructure and supporting organizations that share our vision.

  • $2,250 donated to local disc golf nonprofits

  • $1,800 invested in new baskets at Spiritwood and Darby Disc Golf Courses

These investments help create more accessible, high-quality places to play for current and future players.

Event Sponsorships & Participant Support

We believe in supporting events and reducing barriers for players—especially youth.

  • $2,000+ contributed to Montana disc golf events

  • Sponsored and supported events including the Montana Maiden and Montana State Juniors Showdown

  • 6 junior players received entry fee assistance

By investing in events and participants, we help strengthen the competitive and community aspects of the sport.

Disc Giveaways

Access to equipment is one of the simplest ways to grow the game.

  • $1,150 worth of discs donated

  • Distributed directly to women and youth players in local communities

These efforts help new players get started and feel welcomed into the sport.

Volunteer Impact

Our work is powered by dedicated volunteers who show up to support and grow the game.

  • 225+ volunteer hours contributed

  • Supporting course maintenance, event operations, and new course development

This hands-on involvement helps sustain and expand disc golf opportunities across the region.

Community Programming: Ladies League (Montana Magpies)

In 2025, we launched an informal Ladies League focused on connection, accessibility, and fun.

  • A growing, welcoming space for women of all skill levels

  • Focused on building confidence, community, and consistency

  • Encourages players to bring friends and family and participate with no pressure

While still small, this program reflects our belief that strong communities are built over time through consistency and support.

Looking Ahead

We are excited to build on this momentum in 2026 by expanding our programs, increasing community investment, and continuing to create inclusive opportunities for players of all backgrounds and experience levels.
